About DA Watch

DA Watch is building RejectionWatch: a free public tool that ranks NSW councils by development application rejection rate and explains the planning issues behind those refusals.

It is made for developers, architects, homeowners, planning consultants, and anyone who wants a clearer view of where applications struggle. The aim is to make public planning data easier to compare, understand, and share.

Data is sourced from the NSW Planning Portal. Published dashboards will disclose their reporting period, methodology, and limitations, while recent application examples will be de-identified where appropriate. DA Watch provides general information, not planning or legal advice.
